Having grown up on Vancouver Island, Kathleen’s second home is in the beautiful forest we are world famous for. She has been hiking here since she was a child and knows the land like the back of her hand.
Kathleen has worked with animals for over 20 years and has had more animals through her home than we could possibly count. She has worked for over 15 years at the local animal shelter and has been a director for two well known animal rescue organizations on Vancouver Island, providing behavioral assessments, medical rehabs, fostering and rehoming all species of animals. Her experience is invaluable.
Matthew is a military import to Vancouver Island and his first trip here he knew he would never leave. He now spends his days climbing mountains with a pack of dogs in tow. His first dog was a German Shepherd and his love for the breed has only grown. He has been fostering dogs now for the last five years which has included every breed from Poodles to Mastiffs. Big or small he adores them all.
